Head of IT Security

Overview

In this role you will define and deliver the charity’s information security, cybersecurity and IT risk strategy across a large technology estate. You will shape the security roadmap, recruit and lead your own team, and partner with senior leaders to strengthen security culture and resilience. You’ll tackle strategic challenges, drive transformation, and influence decision-making at executive level. • Define and deliver information security, cybersecurity and IT risk strategy across a large technology estate.

• Establish governance and risk management practices aligned with the organisation’s goals.

Key requirements

• Previous experience leading Information Security or Cybersecurity functions
• Strong knowledge of ISO27001 and NIST
• Experience developing security strategy, governance and risk management frameworks
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change
• Passion for building high-performing security teams and security-first cultures
