Project Manager

Overview

In this Senior Project Manager role, you lead large-scale data centre developments from strategy to handover across Europe, partnering with top technology clients. You shape delivery approaches, governance, and risk management while guiding cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and drive high-performing project teams. This role blends entrepreneurial agility with global scale within Soben, a part of Accenture, delivering world-class infrastructure projects. You will work at the forefront of technology and innovation, delivering significant impact for mission-critical programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership during project inception and development, defining objectives, risks, and delivery approaches
• Define success criteria across programme, budget, quality, safety, sustainability, and operational performance
• Develop and implement comprehensive project execution strategies and delivery plans
• Establish governance, reporting, and controls for the project lifecycle
• Plan and maintain robust programmes and delivery schedules
• Monitor progress, take corrective action as needed, and manage change
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, risk/opportunity registers, and commercial decisions
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, foster collaboration, and mentor junior members
• Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality management and ensure compliance

Key requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
• Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, CEng, or equivalent) or demonstrable progress toward chartership
• Proven experience delivering major construction projects in a consultancy, client-side, or contractor environment
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from feasibility to handover
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and delivery best practices
• Experience managing senior-level stakeholder relationships
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
