Business Analyst Consultant

Overview

As a Business Analyst Consultant at Visa, you will translate data insights into actionable business opportunities for leading clients. You will bridge client needs and Visa solutions, driving profitability through data-driven assessments and go-to-market optimization. You’ll collaborate with product teams to define enhancements and ensure successful technical implementations. This role offers impact at scale within Visa’s consulting arm, combining analytics, strategy, and execution to improve client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Champion data analytics to address client challenges
• Identify trends to guide data product development and services
• Perform technical analysis with product and design teams to define opportunities
• Develop profitability assessments and contribute to business cases
• Design and support financially viable testing to optimize go-to-market strategies
• Assist in defining product enhancements, requirements, and new features
• Collaborate with Visa product teams for efficient implementation of solutions
• Provide thought leadership on business analysis techniques and development approaches

Key requirements

• Proven experience in business analyst roles
• Expertise in Agile delivery and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Background in payment, retail banking, or retail merchant industries
• Strong collaboration and ownership in delivery
• Ability to tailor analyses for diverse audiences
• Strong consultative, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of profitability drivers and how to calculate them
• Excellent storytelling to translate evidence into actions
