Senior Product Designer

Overview

As Senior Product Designer at Zapp, you lead design for our customer app and internal operations tools, shaping fast, user-centered experiences. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams to solve real-world problems in a high-speed environment. Your work focuses on usable workflows within logistics and fulfillment contexts, from risks to design systems, powered by practical prototypes. This role combines strategy, craft, and impact at scale in a mission to redefine on-demand premium retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for mobile app and internal tools used by operations and commercial teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads to define problems and deliver practical design solutions
• Communicate concepts and research findings clearly to stakeholders
• Map user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs balancing usability, efficiency, data accuracy, and visual clarity
• Use Figma for wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; explore AI-assisted design and handoff
• Conduct user research and usability testing with internal teams and fulfillment centers to uncover real-world needs
• Design efficient interfaces for systems like Supplier, Inventory, Rider Dispatch, Warehouse Management, focusing on core workflows in busy fulfillment settings
• Contribute to evolving the design system, standardising components, and improving documentation for consistency and scalability

Key requirements

• 5+ years of UI/UX/Product design experience across consumer apps and complex internal tools (logistics, retail/e-commerce, or on-demand)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and product thinking
• Proven ability to conduct user research and apply user-centered design principles
• Passion and attention to detail with world-class commitment to craft
• Proficiency in Figma (mockups, components, prototyping) and understanding cross-platform constraints
• Interest in applying AI to optimize workflows
• Experience collaborating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments; startup mindset with comfort in ambiguity
