Senior Analyst – Procurement P2

Overview

In this role you will execute and manage procurement activities for materials, services, and supplies, while identifying commercial risks and driving value for money. You will engage with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support bids, contracts, and program needs within Raytheon UK’s defence and aerospace portfolio. You’ll influence supplier performance and risk management, contributing to sustainable procurement and strategic objectives. This hybrid role offers site-based work in Glenrothes or Livingston with strong development opportunities in a leading national security-focused company.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, award and document purchases for materials, services, and supplies
• Lead or support cost and price analysis and negotiation strategies to optimize value
• Support early supplier identification and engagement for new pursuits
• Contribute to bid/proposal activities and supplier risk analyses
• Interface with Integrated Product Teams and supplier cross-functional groups
• Ensure requirements (prime contract, quality, T&Cs) are communicated to suppliers
• Manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality targets
• Promote sustainable and responsible procurement across the supply chain
• Participate in supplier assessments and development activities
• Prepare data and briefing materials for management reviews

Key requirements

• Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Commodity or related field
• Flexible and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a multifunctional team
• Related degree and/or MCIPS/BA/MBA or working towards MCIPS
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Experience negotiating low-complexity non-standard agreements
• Experience with problem solving and dispute resolution
• Knowledge of MRP, SAP and PO placement/invoicing processes
• Administration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and services
