Management Consulting Manager – Aerospace and Defence

Overview

In this role, you will lead consulting engagements for leading Aerospace & Defence clients, guiding transformation programs that combine strategy, technology, and AI. You’ll drive cross-functional project delivery across multiple workstreams and develop offerings to support sales and client value creation. You’ll partner with client teams to implement recommendations and shape innovative solutions at scale. This position sits within Accenture’s global A&D practice, offering exposure to high-impact programs and a culture that values collaboration and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead focused project teams across Aerospace & Defence clients and problems
• Frame problems, design analysis approaches, and drive execution
• Oversee multiple workstreams within larger projects
• Coach and develop team members to deliver excellence
• Structure and communicate outcomes to client management
• Collaborate with clients to implement recommendations and realize value
• Develop offerings and collateral to support sales and origination
• Lead client innovation and requirements workshops applying human-centred problem solving

Key requirements

• Significant client-facing management consulting experience in Aerospace & Defence
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record; MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not essential
• Functional knowledge in areas such as Supply Chain, Operational Improvement, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Sourcing & Procurement, Digital Engineering, Complex Programme Delivery, Services
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Team leadership and coaching experience
• Effective written and oral communication in English
• Willingness to travel and obtain UK security clearance eligibility
• Experience working in a high-growth, transformation-focused environment
