C / C++ Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will develop, integrate and optimise C/C++ software for the 5G NR PHY, collaborating with hardware, architecture and test teams to address performance challenges. You will contribute to automated testing and CI, ensuring reliable software in a demanding technical environment. This position offers hands-on work with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge 5G technology, with a clear impact on performance and interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Develop C/C++ software to run and test 5G NR PHY algorithms
• Improve software performance through optimisation and multithreading
• Integrate software components and help resolve complex technical issues
• Develop and maintain automated testing and CI processes
• Collaborate with hardware, architecture and system-test teams
• Support interoperability testing with customers, vendors and operators
• Contribute to technical reviews and wider software engineering decisions

Key requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing software in C or C++
