Senior Manager – Programme Manager – Pensions Data Migration (LPI)

Overview

As a Programme Manager you will lead large, multi-workstream technology-enabled transformations for UK Insurance clients, with a focus on pensions data migration. You will command governance, risk and delivery across client and supplier teams, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The role sits within the Life, Pensions and Retail Investments practice and offers visibility into strategic data, migration and regulatory integrity initiatives. You’ll drive tangible outcomes through mobilisation, planning, benefit realization and cutover execution, shaping high-impact programmes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive delivery for complex, multi-workstream programmes across client and Accenture teams
• Establish and lead programme governance (steering, risk/issue, dependencies, escalation)
• Manage budgets, resource plans, milestones, and delivery predictability
• Build senior client relationships and act as trusted advisor on delivery risk and outcomes
• Coordinate supplier and third-party delivery dependencies and issue resolution
• Translate strategy into executable delivery plans and governance structures
• Provide leadership during critical delivery events (testing, data migration, cutover, go-live)
• Mentor and develop delivery managers and leads within the team

Key requirements

• Direct experience managing data migration programmes, including strategy, cutover planning, dual-running, reconciliation and data quality assurance
• Proven Programme Manager or Senior Delivery Lead in complex technology-enabled transformations within Financial Services
• Experience managing programme budgets, forecasts, change control, and senior-level reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior client leaders
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and delivery partners across multiple centers
• Experience shaping governance across workstreams (data migration, testing, change management, deployment)
• Excellent communication, consulting and problem-solving skills
