Senior iOS Engineer II – Account Mobile

Overview

As an iOS Engineer in Wise’s Account Mobile team, you shape a cohesive, responsive experience for Wise Account users. You collaborate with product, design, and analytics to deliver tools that simplify cross‑currency management and support a high-quality global product. You influence app quality and code health across the mobile stack and align with broader technical initiatives. This role offers the chance to impact user experience at scale within a diverse, cross‑functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope and build consistent experiences across Wise’s native apps and the web with a customer-centric focus
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics and other teams to deliver impactful user experiences as part of a cross-functional team
• Take responsibility for the overall health and quality of the iOS project
• Coordinate with other iOS and Android engineers to stay current with new technologies and maintain cross‑platform consistency
• Ensure code is clean, maintainable and efficient to optimize performance, loading times, and stability

Key requirements

• Proven experience in building and deploying an app that delights customers
• Proficiency in Swift
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, or VIPER (VIPER and MVVM preferred)
• Desire to write testable code
• Understanding of REST API design
• Strong product mindset and user-centric focus with data‑driven decision making
• Excellent communication and ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
• Ability to collaborate effectively and solve problems independently and proactively
