.Net Senior Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and implement enterprise-grade .NET solutions in a product-focused team, aligning with product owners and stakeholders. You will drive delivery across IT functions, emphasize code quality and security, and champion improvements in performance and process. You’ll work in a cloud-enabled environment, mentoring junior engineers and shaping secure, scalable applications. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT functions (SecOps, Systems, Platform Engineering, Support) to ensure aligned implementations
• Support requirements definition, design, effort estimation, task delivery, and demonstrations for feedback; oversee ongoing support and maintenance
• Own delivery of demand and change initiatives; implement internal applications following change management policies
• Conduct code quality, security, and testing reviews to maintain high standards
• Drive continuous improvement in application performance, technical debt, engineering practices, code quality, security and testing

Key requirements

• Strong C# and .NET development experience in enterprise applications
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
• Strong SQL, MSSQL preferred
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or similar containerisation
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and Git
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript, React or Angular)
• Understanding of software engineering principles, security and Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of fixed income products would be advantageous
