Overview

As Laboratory Supervisor in Genetic Toxicology, you lead a technical and support team to ensure accurate, timely studies. You oversee day-to-day operations, schedule resources, and maintain data integrity, with a focus on GLP-compliant practices. You collaborate with scientists to enable high-quality toxicology studies and staff development. This role combines hands-on laboratory work with people leadership to advance Labcorp’s diagnostics and research objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory and operational support for Genetic Toxicology studies
• Direct responsibility for staff in the assigned group/section
• Train and develop team to meet deadlines and growth goals
• Ensure overall accuracy, quality, timeliness and completeness of work
• Schedule and allocate resources; supervise operational/scientific staff
• Oversee study data integrity and, where applicable, equipment metrology and functionality

Key requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Chemistry or Biology
• Supervisory experience in a laboratory with regulatory standards (GLP)
• Staff management including development and training
• Aseptic techniques and cell culture experience desirable
• Excellent organizing and time management with attention to detail
