Actuarial Analyst

Overview

In this role you will deliver analytics-focused advisory to global clients from Marsh Specialty, combining model development with client-facing consulting. You will work within the Risk Consulting & Analytics Solutions team in London, collaborating across brokerage and consulting to drive high-quality outputs and actionable recommendations. The position blends technical analysis with cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid setting. You will contribute to expanding analytics offerings and embedding best practices across regional and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support analytics project delivery with high-quality outputs and client satisfaction
• Support UK&I sales and client service via results presentations, methodology explanations, and actionable recommendations
• Assist Marsh UK&I with model development in coordination with business leaders and colleagues
• Drive engagement with Marsh Risk Consulting analytics offerings for UK&I clients
• Collaborate with global teams to share and embed best practices

Key requirements

• Strong analytics or actuarial background in risk management or commercial insurance
• Good knowledge of General Insurance
• Several years of relevant experience in model development, risk management, retail insurance, actuarial practice, or advisory/consulting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and at least one programming language
• Strong presentation skills and hands-on consulting project experience
