Programme Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead GLT’s education initiatives, curating and delivering inclusive arts programmes across London and beyond. You will work closely with the Programmes team to plan, run, and evaluate projects that benefit children, families, and SEND groups, helping to expand access to participatory theatre. You’ll collaborate with external partners and venues to scale impact and contribute to GLT’s mission of using theatre to transform young lives. This is a hands-on, creative role with a clear impact on communities and a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Curate and organise established programmes, identifying practitioners and evolving content as needed
• Build and maintain the programmes database including SEND and mainstream organisations
• Assist with budgeting and ensure projects stay within approved budgets
• Collaborate with Development and Commercial Teams to secure funding and prepare evaluation reports
• Prepare paperwork for programmes (invoices, contracts, DBS checks)
• Develop and nurture a network of practitioners across mainstream and SEND work
• Coordinate with producers, venues, and marketing to secure inventory for Family First Nights
• Oversee creation of Relaxed Performance resources for commercial theatre
• Provide comprehensive evaluation reports for programmes
• Oversee budget management and forecasting
• Keep up-to-date with trends in arts education for children
• Represent GLT at conferences/seminars and events with education providers
• Assist with CRM database maintenance (Beacon) and website content updates with Marketing
• Prepare activity updates for quarterly Board meetings

• Strong planning, organisational, and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication, creativity, and energy
• Committed advocate for participatory arts and theatre
• Ability to work within a small team and support colleagues as needed
