Sr. Security Analyst – SOC, German Speaking

Overview

In this Sr. Security Analyst role, you will join LevelBlue’s Threat Detection and Response team to monitor and respond to security events 24/7, bridging DFIR with client-facing support. You drive escalation handling, process improvement, and mentor junior analysts to sustain service excellence. You will work with cross-functional security teams and customers to ensure rapid, effective incident response and continuous protection. Responsibilities

• Analyze escalated and complex security cases from endpoint tools
• Resolve technical problems within managed security solutions as part of improvement projects
• Document and improve monitoring and management processes
• Tune blocking/reporting to meet customer needs
• Baseline threat detection for complex environments
• Test and refine EDR/PS policies
• Ensure customer satisfaction and overall service success
• Handle on-call duties including nights and weekends
• Mentor and serve as escalation point for analysts within TDR
• Adhere to security policies and best practices
• Escalate appropriately and maintain documentation with DFIR and client teams

Key requirements

• Intermediate skills in cyber investigation and incident handling
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
• Unix/Linux and Windows system administration
• Knowledge of exploit techniques and remediation
• Threat hunting and investigation capabilities
• Web services administration
• Log collection and analysis tools
• Fluent English; German proficiency required; French a plus
