***ESSENTIAL – Hands-on Sage 50 Accounts & stock, inventory or manufacturing accounting experience***
This role is perfect for:
- Exceptional Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant ready to step up take broader ownership; or
- Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller who still enjoys being hands-on
We’re working with a founder-led and fast-growing beauty and personal care brand that manufactures it’s own products.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit above the numbers.
What you’ll own:
- Full monthly management accounts and month-end close
- P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and variance analysis
- Stock, inventory, COGS and gross-margin accounting
- Product costing, manufacturing costs and BOM costing
- Reconciliation of Amazon, TikTok Shop and other e-commerce channels
- Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
- UK and international VAT, including hands-on Import VAT, PVA and C79
- Intercompany accounting across multiple international entities
- Payroll oversight and reconciliations
- Budgets, forecasts and scenario planning
- Improving finance, stock, inventory and manufacturing processes
- Commercial analysis around pricing, margin, cost control and profitability
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on Sage 50 Accounts experience – essential
- Hands-on experience with Import VAT / PVA / C79
- Strong experience producing full monthly management accounts
- Proven ownership of the month-end close
- Experience in a stock / inventory / product-led business
- Strong understanding of COGS, gross margin and product profitability
- Comfortable operating across both financial control and operational finance
