About the company
This early-stage AI software company is building the agent layer for commercial insurance. Its platform sits above fragmented, legacy broker systems, automating submission intake, data extraction, insurer outreach and quote comparison.
Its mission is to remove administrative work so brokers can spend more time advising clients and exercising human judgement. The company believes technology should strengthen, rather than replace, the human interface in insurance.
The culture is defined by collective ownership, mentorship, high standards and velocity. Team members are expected to make decisions, learn quickly and contribute across both customer-facing delivery and the core platform.
What the job entails
As a Software Engineer, you will build and ship product end-to-end across the frontend, backend and infrastructure. You will work closely with founders and insurance brokers to understand real workflows, develop practical solutions and take them from initial concept through to production deployment.
The role combines forward-deployed engineering with core platform development. You may build integrations and bespoke workflows for major broker customers, while also improving the underlying platform, reliability and marginal cost of delivery.
Depending on your strengths, you may contribute to agent infrastructure, data models, evaluation systems, compliance, security or cyber capabilities. You will make architectural decisions, solve complex problems without detailed specifications and help shape a product used daily by commercial insurance professionals.
