Senior Recruitment Consultant – US Technology
London EC3 – Bank / Monument – Hybrid, 3 days office
£40,000-£60,000 basic DOE – Zero-threshold commission
Want to recruit into the US without spending your first six months finding vacancies or your evenings working US hours?
Join a London-based technology recruitment business and work alongside a US permanent recruiter billing £350k-£400k annually.
The existing desk has established client relationships and live vacancies across industrial automation and robotics. There’s also scope to develop your own clients and specialism across software engineering and other US technology markets.
It’s not a delivery-only role. You’ll be expected to win business, but you won’t be starting with an empty desk.
What’s on offer?
- Commission from your first pound of NFI. Monthly commission is calculated progressively: 10% on the first £10k, 15% on the next £10k, 20% on the next £10k and 30% on everything above £30k.
- Your own US market. Work on existing client requirements while developing new business. You’re not restricted to industrial automation and robotics.
- Flexible US working hours. Normal UK hours are fine, with the option to start and finish later to accommodate US clients. Most of the team finish by around 6pm.
- Hybrid working. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in the London office. Tuesday and Friday from home.
- Autonomy. A commercially driven environment where you’re trusted to manage your own clients, business development and placements, rather than being measured against rigid activity KPIs.
Who would suit it?
An experienced agency-side 360 recruiter with a track record of consistent billing and personally winning new business.
Technology recruitment experience preferred. Strong billers from other specialist markets considered.
If you’ve built a successful UK or European desk and want to take your experience into the US market, this could be worth exploring.
Basic salary will reflect your experience, billing history and track record of winning business.
We welcome applications from qualified candidates of any age, race, gender, or lifestyle, who have the right to live and work in the UK and have a good command of the English language.
