Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Early Years Teaching Assistant Required in Camden

Think Education Partners are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden that is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The Role

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with autism in the Early Years setting
• Help implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies
• Support communication, social interaction and emotional regulation
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals
• Foster a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with classroom activities and daily routines

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working with children with autism and/or special educational needs
• Has experience within an Early Years or primary school setting
• Is patient, empathetic and resilient
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Has excellent communication skills
• Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
