• Salary: £95,000 – £110,000
• Location: Cheltenham
• Clearance: Must hold Enhanced DV Clearance

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Principal Business Analyst to help solve complex business problems and shape technology-led change.

You’ll work across business and technical teams, turning high-level objectives into clear requirements and deliverable solutions. You’ll also help teams make better decisions, improve delivery practices and ensure projects achieve meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with stakeholders to identify problems, understand priorities and define solutions.
• Lead workshops to explore requirements, challenge assumptions and agree next steps.
• Turn business needs into actionable requirements, user stories and prioritised backlogs.
• Work alongside Product Owners and Agile teams to support delivery from initial discovery through implementation.
• Assess existing processes, systems and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business cases and recommendations to support investment and delivery decisions.
• Help organisations prepare for change and measure the benefits delivered.
• Share expertise and support the development of other Business Analysts.

What You’ll Bring

• Significant Business Analysis experience in complex, technical or transformation-led environments.
• A strong understanding of Agile delivery, requirements definition and backlog management.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders, technical specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to break down complex problems and develop practical, outcome-focused solutions.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab or similar delivery tools.
