This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8am-5pmThomas Cuthell & Sons are the longest established independent Funeral Directors in Forth Valley and are seeking a dedicated Funeral Service Operative to join our team at our Bo’ness Funeral Home.In this varied and meaningful role, you will support all aspects of our daily operations-from caring for the deceased and preparing coffins to assisting on funeral services, supporting our memorial team, and maintaining our facilities.The post requires commitment to on call rota requiring 24hr availability, on a one in four-week rotation. A retainer is paid in addition to overtime rate for additional hours worked.Role ResponsibilitiesCaring for the deceased.Washing of vehiclesFurnishing CoffinsAssisting on funeralsAssisting the memorial erection departmentOccasional garden and property maintenanceRole Requirements:The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the position; therefore, experience is not necessary but will be considered an advantage.The position requires commitment to an on-call rota system involving weekend and through the night call outs.Full driving licence is essential.DBS clearance required.Benefits:On site parkingUniform provided.Pension SchemeHoliday allowanceAdditional Information:Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role.
