Electronics Assembly Technician
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-focused Electronics Assembly Technician to join our client’s production team in Salisbury.
Job Details:– Immediate Start– Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:15pm – Early Friday finish– £14.56phr– On-going Opportunity
Job Specifics:– Mount and secure electronic parts, microchips, and wires onto PCBs and into larger casings using hand tools and soldering equipment.– Hand-solder components using Surface Mount Technology (SMT) or through-hole techniques.– Inspect finished assemblies for defects, test functionality and troubleshoot basic faults.– Be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics
Requirements for this role:– Manufacturing, production or assembly experience– Experience with hand soldering and operating electronic test equipment.– Excellent attention to detail and pride in finishing to a high standard– Ability to work accurately and efficiently, and follow instructions– Positive, reliable and hardworking approach– Good communication and teamwork skills
