Due to continued growth and expansion, Doran Precision Engineering is looking for skilled CNC Setters/Operators to join our team in Newcastle, Co. Down.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced CNC machine shop environment, with a strong understanding of machining processes and familiarity with FANUC controls.
We’re a family-run precision engineering company with over 30 years’ experience in the Aerospace, Motorsport and Medical industries, who operate a modern machine shop with advanced CNC technology and a strong focus on quality and rapid response.

What we’re looking for
- Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work independently
- Good knowledge of tooling, machining processes and component inspection
- A practical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to use a range of precision inspection and measuring equipment
Working hours
Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday |39 working hours
Weekend overtime available at enhanced rates.
