We’re looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join a large-scale data transformation programme, helping shape the future of an enterprise data platform.
This role suits someone who combines technical leadership with hands‑on delivery. You’ll be comfortable challenging solution designs, influencing architecture decisions and then building the solution yourself.
Key experience required:
- Deep expertise in dimensional modelling, semantic models and Power BI
- Strong experience designing and building Gold-layer data solutions
- Ability to work across engineering, analytics and reporting
- Experience influencing technical direction and challenging design decisions
- Enterprise‑scale mindset with a focus on scalability, reuse and maintainability
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across a team
We’re looking for a senior engineer who can think strategically whilst staying close to the technology, owning solutions from the data platform through to the end‑user reporting experience.
Contract Details
- £550-£570 per day
- Outside IR35
- 6‑month initial contract
- High likelihood of extension
- London based
- 2 days per week onsite
