We’re supporting a growing technology consultancy delivering complex digital transformation programmes across the UK Defence and Government sectors.

As a Solutions Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering secure, scalable technology solutions for high-profile clients. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to design architectures that solve real-world operational challenges.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing end-to-end technical solutions across cloud, data, applications, and integration.
• Leading architecture activities from discovery through to implementation.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements.
• Providing technical leadership and governance across project teams.
• Ensuring solutions align with security, compliance, and architectural standards.
• Supporting bid activity, solution proposals, and client growth initiatives.
• Mentoring and developing junior consultants and architects.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with APIs, systems integration, and modern architecture principles.
• Understanding of security architecture and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within Defence, MOD, National Security, or Government environments.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF and defence architecture methodologies.
