Senior National Account Manager – National Wholesale

Lime Talent is working on behalf of a leading FMCG business in the search for a Senior National Account Manager to manage key national wholesale customers.
This is an opportunity to join an established business with a portfolio of well-known brands and take ownership of important customer relationships. You’ll shape the commercial plans for your accounts, identifying opportunities to grow sales, improve profitability and expand distribution.
The role combines strategic account planning with hands‑on customer management, working closely with colleagues across the business to turn commercial opportunities into results.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver joint business plans with national wholesale customers, taking ownership of sales, profitability and account performance.
- Build strong relationships with key customer contacts, developing a clear understanding of their priorities and growth plans.
- Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, promotional investment and trading agreements.
- Identify opportunities to grow distribution, strengthen the product range and introduce new products.
- Manage customer forecasts and budgets, using performance data to guide decisions and address risks.
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver customer plans and maintain strong service levels.
This role would suit someone who:
- Has experience managing national wholesale accounts within the FMCG sector.
- Is an established Senior National Account Manager or a successful National Account Manager ready to take the next step.
- Combines strong commercial judgement with confident negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Is comfortable managing account profitability, analysing performance and turning insight into action.
- Enjoys taking ownership, spotting opportunities and working collaboratively to deliver growth.
