Elevation Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Manager to lead its quality function and drive improvements across the wider operation.
This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to shape quality strategy, improve business performance and embed a proactive culture of continuous improvement, working closely with senior leadership, engineering, manufacturing and key customers.
The Role
- Lead and develop the overall quality function, setting the strategy and driving performance across the business.
- Develop and improve the Quality Management System, processes and procedures.
- Drive down customer complaints, PPM, warranty costs, scrap and internal waste.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with relevant standards, customer requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee internal and external audits, supplier quality and non-conformance management.
- Monitor and report quality KPIs to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead, coach and develop the quality team, building a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing and operations to improve quality, cost and delivery performance.
About You
We’re keen to speak with experienced quality leaders who can demonstrate:
- A strong track record leading a quality function within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing and implementing quality strategies, systems and processes.
- A proven ability to improve quality performance, reduce costs and deliver measurable business improvements.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience with automotive components, manufacturing processes and production techniques.
- A relevant quality qualification and/or degree-level education, or equivalent experience.
