We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team supporting major water and infrastructure projects in the Hampton area.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the commercial performance of key projects while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.You will be responsible for overseeing commercial activities across project lifecycles, ensuring effective cost management, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for assigned projects and work packages.
• Collaborate with design, construction, and supply chain teams to monitor and control project costs.
• Build and maintain productive client relationships to ensure project and business objectives are achieved.
• Manage contracts, including the administration of contractual notices and correspondence.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
• Support the management and performance of subcontractors.
• Manage applications for payment, valuations, and final accounts.
• Produce accurate cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and commercial updates.
• Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and commercial best practices.
• Maintain awareness of industry developments through ongoing professional development.
• Ensure a professional, solutions-focused approach when engaging with stakeholders.
• Adhere to company procedures relating to confidentiality, governance, and compliance.
