As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead complex landing gear design activities across the full product lifecycle. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable, and commercially effective systems, influence major product decisions, and mentor engineers. • Influence significant product and programme decisions
• Mentor developing engineers and drive continuous improvements to processes, methods and tools
• Contribute to shaping the future of aerospace technology with technical excellence

Key requirements

• Experience delivering complex mechanical design projects and leading technical work packages
• Strong CAD, 3D modelling and engineering drawing capability with GD&T, design standards and configuration management
• Ability to develop evidence-based solutions for complex engineering challenges
• Experience with safety-critical products in aerospace or similar sectors
• Experience coaching, mentoring or technically reviewing other engineers
• Desirable: knowledge of qualification, certification or regulatory requirements for safety-critical products
