Network Engineer – 11906MS1

Overview

In this role you will lead hands-on data centre network migration efforts, handling urgent challenges to align build-out with project timelines. You’ll design and implement the new data centre network, focused on Nexus-based environments and VXLAN/BGP EVPN, while removing blockers to accelerate delivery. You work closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth Prem-to-Prem migration and rapid restoration of progress. This is a high-impact, on-site role with remote collaboration and immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex network issues and resolve project challenges
• Design, build and configure network infrastructure for a new data centre
• Support and deliver a Prem-to-Prem data centre migration
• Build out and configure network environments using Cisco Nexus technologies
• Work hands-on with VXLAN, BGP EVPN
• Identify and resolve technical blockers to get the project back on track
• Provide practical engineering expertise throughout the migration and build process

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Centre Network Engineer
• Strong, hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus
• In-depth knowledge of VXLAN, BGP EVPN
• Demonstrable experience delivering data centre network build-outs and migrations
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through complex technical challenges
• Experience stepping into challenging projects and delivering results quickly
• Available to start immediately
