Project Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead Task/Project delivery at the NWS LLWR site, ensuring work is scoped, resourced and executed to schedule, budget and quality standards. You will oversee client and stakeholder engagement, coordinate subcontractors, and apply CDM and site procedures to keep people safe. You will drive cost efficiency and value-for-money through active planning, risk management and issue resolution. This is a hands-on, commercially aware role that shapes project outcomes on a critical site.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope with the client
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to required quality
• Ensure adequate resourcing and manage client/stakeholder relationships
• Conduct risk analysis and maintain effective communication with all parties
• Maintain and monitor project schedules and progress
• Record, manage and escalate project issues and changes
• Review costs with Commercial team to assess financial performance
• Ensure CDM regulations and site health & safety measures are followed

Key requirements

• Experience managing full lifecycle of tasks/projects
• Proactive planning and management to ensure delivery and financial viability
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Willingness to attend NWS LLWR site daily, with hybrid working options
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety requirements
