Operations Manager

Overview

In this role, you will act as the engine room for ClearCourse Group Operations, ensuring procurement, fleet, premises, health and safety, and compliance run smoothly. You will own data, policies, and incident response to support reliable operations. You will identify and fix inefficiencies with smarter processes and AI/automation, and collaborate across teams to maintain accuracy in trackers and dashboards. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role that shapes how we scale operations while maintaining safety and compliance. Responsibilities

• Manage procurement requests and hardware ordering across the Group
• Own fleet data, compliance and driver queries end-to-end
• Maintain health & safety records, DSE assessments and reporting
• Publish and maintain policies, business continuity and incident response plans
• Triage compliance requests through the self-service tool
• Identify manual, repetitive work and implement smarter processes and AI/automation
• Keep trackers, records and dashboards accurate and up to date

Key requirements

• 3+ years in operations, procurement support or facilities administration
• Experience running a shared inbox or service desk to SLAs
• Strong data handling, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of health & safety administration
• Confidence to chase, follow up and keep things moving
• Strong MS Office 365 skills, especially SharePoint and Excel
