Management Accountant

Overview

In this role you will support regional finance teams in delivering accurate, timely reporting to the Group Finance function. You will work closely with the Finance Director and Finance Managers to implement a customer-centric approach and help define what quality financial reporting means for the region. You will handle forecasts, month-end processes, and cash management to enable strategic decisions. This is a hands-on position that contributes to the company’s mission of delivering value to customers and communities.

Responsibilities

• Process journals and reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
• Produce weekly Sales Reporting and assist with plot forecasting
• Deliver Monthly Actuals reporting via OneStream
• Assist in Month End reporting for Head Office
• Provide cover for cashbook and prepare weekly cash actuals
• Support Finance Manager and Finance Director with timely financial information
• Ensure Group Requirements and statutory requirements are met on time
• Review Social Housing completions including retentions accounting & cash collection
• Raise invoices, manage cash collection & maintain Sales Ledger
• Report on site pre-acquisition costs to assist Technical team with budgets and expenditure

Key requirements

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CIMA (qualified or part qualified)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Knowledge of COINS is advantageous
