Head of Commercial Property (8+ PQE)

Overview

Senior leadership role leading the Commercial Property team at a well-established law firm in Tamworth. You will drive high-quality fee-earning work while developing and expanding the department. You’ll supervise colleagues, allocate workload, and uphold standards, shaping the future direction through client relationships and business development. Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of legal services across the department and drive performance
• Supervise colleagues, allocate work, and maintain quality standards
• Develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities
• Shape the future direction of the department through strategic planning and BD initiatives
• Handle a broad range of commercial property matters (acquisitions/disposals, development/site set-up, landlord/tenant, leases, property finance)
• Balance own caseload with leadership duties and team development

Key requirements

• Strong technical commercial property expertise
• Proven leadership skills
• Experience in business development, client relationship management and team supervision
• Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation abilities
• Organisational skills with a practical, commercially focused problem-solving approach
