Associate Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will join a senior leadership team to drive electrical building services delivery across a varied project portfolio. You will lead and develop a team, oversee project performance, and balance technical leadership with commercial oversight. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary design, manage client relationships and resources, and promote sustainable design practices. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electrical building services engineers
• Line management to support welfare, development, workloads and day-to-day activities
• Oversee delivery of projects ensuring quality, programme and budget adherence
• Lead electrical design and multidisciplinary coordination across projects
• Manage project fees, resources, budgets and commercial performance
• Act as Project Lead on selected schemes with client communication
• Coordinate with mechanical, public health, architectural and structural teams
• Provide technical guidance, design reviews and mentoring
• Support client relationships, business development and new opportunities
• Promote best practice in sustainable design, BIM coordination and technical quality

Key requirements

• Experience as Electrical Building Services Engineer in a UK building services consultancy
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Knowledge of UK regulations and standards for electrical design
• Proven track record in project, fee, resource and delivery management
• Excellent communication, organisation and client-facing skills
• Ability to balance technical work with commercial priorities
