Overview
In this role you support clients in raising capital and provide strategic advisory on mergers and acquisitions within Citi’s Institutional Banking team. You will work on client transactions, develop financial analyses, and contribute to pitches and live deals. The position combines valuation work, financial modeling, and market research to inform investment strategies. You will be part of a collaborative, market-facing team that acts as a strategic advisor to clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist on client transactions and assignments as a junior member of the Investment Banking team
- Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data for proposals and strategic plans
- Prepare recommendations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals
- Conduct economic/financial research and benchmark company performance against industry trends
- Build complex financial models for valuation purposes
Key requirements
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Certified Role under the FCA/PRA Certification Regime and fitness/propriety assessment requirements
