Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As Senior Quantity Surveyor on the HS2 Track contract, you will help drive commercial performance for Ferrovial BAM’s UK infrastructure program. You’ll work within the commercial team to optimise cost control, risk, and change management, collaborating with project management, design, and client teams. The role offers exposure to NEC contracts and large-scale railway work, with a path that includes mobility across project offices in London and nearby areas. Responsibilities

• Administer NEC3 & NEC4 forms of contract
• Manage subcontract accounts
• Support the Commercial Manager and the commercial team
• Maintain records and support audit processes
• Administer risk and opportunity management to maximise entitlement
• Support contract review and monthly reporting
• Produce KPI evidence and monthly cost/forecast reports
• Maintaining cost control and supporting change control process
• Assist procurement with tenders and subcontract documentation
• Manage subcontracts from order to final account
• Maintain registers of variations, delays, extensions and claims
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and client teams
• Produce documentation to demonstrate KPI achievement

Key requirements

• Experience at Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor level with core commercial skills
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with project team and clients
• Team-oriented with a positive influence and willingness to help development
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
