Senior OT Operations Manager – ADMS & Control Systems

Overview

In this Senior IT/OT role you will lead the management of OT control systems across Distribution assets to ensure resilience and security. You’ll help shape the Distribution digital strategy and oversee both internal and third‑party teams, aligning with broader OT/Telecoms goals. You’ll drive improvements, manage budgets, and coordinate with cyber security to meet standards and incident response needs. Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the Distribution digital strategy as part of the OT & Telecoms Leadership Team
• Manage ADMS+ & Control Systems pillar teams and OT Technical Support, including budgets and skills development
• Oversee central OT platform and applications up to the network boundary, ensuring resilience and regulatory compliance
• Lead system improvements and upgrades with project management and delivery capability
• Define OT standards and verify requirements in new-build development and construction
• Collaborate with the Cyber Security Manager to meet cyber security requirements and manage mitigations
• Develop incident response and disaster recovery plans
• Ensure cross-site service delivery with high-performing, multidisciplinary teams

Key requirements

• Strong knowledge of OT systems and networks (design, operation, architecture), ideally ADMS/DMS/DERMS
• Understanding of cyber-physical/IoT/OT/IACS systems
• Engineering and cyber security risk assessment and mitigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including clear technical documentation
• Proven management experience in industrial control systems and delivering services with diverse teams
