Overview
In this role you lead and develop the regional family practice within a well-regarded firm, handling a varied caseload across divorce, financial claims, private children matters, and mediation. You’ll mentor and manage the Family team, drive professional development, and contribute to growth and performance. You will also play an active role in business development and client relationship initiatives to raise the team’s profile. Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Family team, including mentoring lawyers and setting objectives
- Support professional development and contribute to team growth and performance
- Engage in business development, networking, and client relationship initiatives
- Handle a high-quality caseload across divorce, financial claims, private children matters, and mediation
- Enhance the team’s profile and reputation within the firm and market
Key requirements
- Strong experience in family law with a proven track record in managing and developing a team
- 5+ PQE (as indicated)
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and performance development
- Ability to engage in business development and client relationship work
- High-net-worth and complex financial case exposure preferred
