Project Manager

Overview

In this Project Manager role within IT Service Delivery Management, you lead complex, high-visibility initiatives for New Store Openings and technology refreshes. You will partner with cross-functional teams, executives, and business stakeholders to deliver on time, within scope, and within budget, while advancing PM maturity and process improvement. You’ll collaborate with delivery, product, and engineering teams, store operations, and construction partners to plan, prioritize, and coordinate across teams. Your work directly supports TJX’s store strategy and customer experience at scale, in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation-to-delivery of complex projects for New Store Openings and technology refreshes
• Partner with cross-functional teams, executives, and business stakeholders to manage scope, time, and budget
• Drive process improvement and mentor project team members to raise PM maturity
• Collaborate across delivery, product, and engineering with Store Operations and Construction partners
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and risk/issue logs; manage dependencies and third-party vendors
• Facilitate Steering Committee meetings and report status to Senior Leadership
• Remove impediments and drive timely resolutions to protect project timeline and budget
• Promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the PM function

Key requirements

• Extensive years of project management experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to translate between technical concepts and business needs
• Proven ability to build relations across levels and business units
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment with measurable impact
• Adaptable and Agile, able to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with retail stores or retail implementations
