Lead Technical Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you lead a technical data team while performing hands-on data work to deliver migrations and transformations. You guide project delivery, align with leadership vision, and ensure stakeholders stay coordinated. You act as the technical anchor, solving complex data challenges and driving efficiency. This role blends people leadership with hands-on execution to advance data initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and daily operational guidance to the team within the technical data function
• Execute hands-on contribution to projects through data migration and data transformation using Python-based ETL tools
• Manage the team’s work allocation and coordinate activities to ensure results are driven by the team in collaboration with others
• Guide the team in issue resolution and escalate blockers proactively, maintaining alignment with stakeholders
• Support career development by providing continuous feedback loops on technical and project execution
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and automation for greater efficiency

Key requirements

• 2+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years and a Master’s degree
• Strong understanding of portfolio, wealth, or investment management and financial data structures
• Proficient in Python and knowledgeable in ETL workflows and data transformation logic
• Strong communication skills, able to conduct technical presentations and convey complex ideas clearly
• Highly organized with attention to detail, able to coordinate activities and deliver results that may impact schedules and costs
• Solutions-driven mindset with a desire to improve processes and a commitment to personal growth in people management
