A leading specialty insurer is looking for a FINPRO Claims Specialist to join its London claims team. The role will involve managing claims from first notification through to resolution, with exposure across Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Financial Institutions and D&O. You’ll take responsibility for coverage, liability, quantum, reserving and overall claims strategy, while working closely with brokers, insureds, underwriters, co-insurers and external counsel.
This is a technical, market-facing position suited to someone who enjoys handling complex claims and building strong relationships across the London insurance market.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Managing a varied FINPRO claims portfolio from notification to closure
- Assessing coverage, liability, quantum and reserving
- Instructing and managing external lawyers and adjusters
- Working closely with underwriting and other internal stakeholders
- Maintaining strong broker and client relationships
- Supporting consistent claims standards, governance and file quality
We’re looking for someone with previous claims handling experience, with experience across one or more of Cyber, PI, FI and D&O. Strong technical judgement, communication and negotiation skills will be important, alongside a good understanding of London Market claims practices.
