Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to join a major project on the General Contractor (GC) side.

Position: Electrical QA/QC Engineer – GC Side

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and QA/QC procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical QA/QC activities on site
• Review and approve ITPs, inspection records, test documentation and quality procedures
• Carry out inspections of electrical installation works
• Monitor subcontractor quality and compliance
• Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning activities
• Review technical documentation, drawings and specifications
• Manage NCRs, observations and corrective actions
• Ensure all quality records and handover documentation are maintained
• Liaise with the project management team, consultants, subcontractors and client
• Ensure works comply with relevant standards, specifications and project requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in Electrical QA/QC within major construction projects
• Previous GC/Main Contractor experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection and testing
• Experience managing subcontractors and quality documentation
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and ITPs
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
