Fidelis Healthcare is a fast-growing, governance-led health and social care provider. We deliver complex care, community services and specialist staffing solutions across the UK. We are building a market-leading Complex Care Division in partnership with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Continuing Healthcare (CHC) teams and Local Authorities. Winning the right contracts is central to that ambition.

We are looking for an exceptional Bid Manager to own our tendering function from opportunity to award.

What you’ll do

• Identify, qualify and track every tender, framework and Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) relevant to our services. You’ll make clear bid or no bid recommendations based on fit and win potential.
• Lead the full bid lifecycle: planning, storyboarding, writing, reviews and compliant submission well within the tender window.
• Develop win themes and tailored method statements covering quality, safeguarding, social value, mobilisation and workforce.
• Work with our Clinical Lead, Compliance, Operations and Commercial teams to gather evidence and turn it into compelling responses.
• Represent Fidelis at market engagement events, supplier days and pre-tender sessions. You’ll position us with commissioners before tenders are published.
• Keep our registrations current across procurement portals, including Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, Atamis, ProContract, In-Tend and Delta eSourcing.
• Build and maintain a bid library of case studies, policies, KPIs and reusable content.
• Run post-bid reviews, analyse evaluator feedback and continuously improve our win rate.

What we’re looking for

• Proven bid writing and bid management experience within health and social care, ideally for a care provider or care agency.
• A demonstrable track record of winning bids, with examples you can talk us through.
• Strong working knowledge of public procurement, including the Procurement Act 2023, framework and DPS processes, and local authority and NHS commissioning.
• A sound understanding of sector regulation, including CQC standards, safeguarding and NHS and local authority requirements.
• Confidence using tender portals and managing multiple live submissions to tight deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail. Nothing leaves your desk non-compliant.
• Excellent written English and the ability to turn complex operational detail into clear, persuasive content.
• Experience in complex care, learning disabilities, mental health or supported living tenders.
• APMP certification or equivalent bid management training.
