- Be able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
- Be flexible with a caring attitude, rotating throughout the maternity departments as required and to be a part of the on-call service we provide.
- Have excellent and extended clinical skills
- Be able to develop their clinical skills and participate in continuing their professional development.
- Have experience in solving problems and using initiative.
- Have the ability to take the lead when caring for women and their babies, identifying any deterioration from normal and escalating appropriately.
