We’re looking for a hands-on and values-led HR Manager to play a pivotal role in the next stage of our HR team’s development.
This is a brilliant opportunity to:
- Bring the HR and recruitment team together around clear priorities and shared standards
- Lead complex employee relations matters with confidence, fairness and sound judgement
- Create a responsive recruitment and onboarding service
- Ensure pre-employment checks, contracts and starter information are completed quickly and accurately
- Remove avoidable delays while maintaining strong safer recruitment standards
- Ensure new colleagues feel informed, prepared and welcomed from day one
- Coach managers and build their confidence in managing people
- Improve HR processes, data and ways of working
- Help move the function from reactive problem-solving towards prevention and continuous improvement
You’ll be commercially aware and risk-conscious, but you’ll never lose sight of the people affected by your decisions.
Because a key part of this role is building a connected, confident and effective team, you’ll be largely based at our Harrogate office initially. Once the team is established and functioning well, home-working flexibility will be available by agreement.
