QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN / QS– SOLAR & BATTERY STORAGE
£47,500–£52,000 BASIC + £6,000 OTE BONUS
LOCATION: BETWEEN MANCHESTER AND THE WEST MIDLANDS
Applicants can be based anywhere between Manchester and the West Midlands. Travel across the Midlands and the wider UK is required.
Join a growing renewable energy business in a dual role combining hands‑on solar PV and battery storage installations with electrical quality, compliance and certification.
THE ROLE
- Install, test and commission solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Work across domestic and commercial projects.
- Oversee electrical compliance, inspections and certification.
- Ensure installations meet NICEIC, MCS and current wiring standards.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and AM2.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Solar PV and Battery Storage qualifications (C&G 2922 & 2923) or be willing to get with support
- Proven solar PV and battery installation experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS/SMSTS or CSCS.
