Due to continued expansion of our clinical team, Stuart Road Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our established nursing team., As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of the practice Nurse/s and all work will be carried out in accordance with national guidance and practice protocols, which will include treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education.
The successful candidate will have previous Primary Care experience and will have the opportunity to develop their skills in line with national requirements and personal development aspirations.
Stuart Road Surgery is undergoing a period of significant change. Recently inspected and rated good by CQC (October 2026), we are expanding our workforce to ensure we are ready for growth and expansion.
We are a small, but mighty practice. Led by two GP partners, ably assisted by five salaried GPs, two practice nurses, one HCA, one Pharmacy technician, Practice/business manager, operations manager and a host of administration staff. We aim to promote a positive and supportive environment.
Hours:Part-time (22.5 hours) working three days per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
