About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to join one of our clients, a leading global clinical research organisation.

This position is primarily focused on clinical research coordination, patient management and study administration, rather than invasive clinical procedures. It would suit a registered nurse who is highly organised, confident working with patients and interested in developing or continuing a career within clinical research.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and coordination of clinical research studies and trials.
• Identify and screen potential participants for research studies.
• Coordinate patient appointments and study visits.
• Support the informed consent process.
• Maintain accurate study records and research documentation.
• Collect and enter study data in accordance with study protocols.
• Liaise with investigators, sponsors, clinicians and patients.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements and study protocols.
• Support preparation for monitoring visits, audits and inspections.
• Track study progress and assist with reporting activities.
• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Previous experience within clinical trials or a research environment.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
• Knowledge of oncology pathways and treatments.
• Experience using electronic patient records and research databases.
