Lead Dental Nurse – Private Dental Practice | High Wycombe

We are looking for an experienced, organised and motivated Lead Dental Nurse to join our well-established, modern private dental practice in High Wycombe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Dental Nurse who is ready to take more responsibility, lead and support the nursing team and help maintain the high clinical and patient-care standards expected within a private practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support and coordinate the dental nursing team
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical areas
• Support clinicians with high-quality chairside assistance
• Maintain excellent infection prevention and control standards
• Oversee clinical stock, ordering and inventory
• Ensure equipment servicing and maintenance schedules are up to date
• Support clinical audits, compliance and CQC requirements
• Train, mentor and support new and existing nursing team members
• Help maintain efficient clinical systems and workflows
• Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to maintain consistently high standards

What We are Looking For

• GDC-registered Dental Nurse
• Good dental nursing experience, ideally within private dentistry
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent knowledge of infection control and clinical standards
• Confident and professional communication skills
• Proactive, reliable and able to take ownership
• Positive attitude with a strong team focus
• Passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience
