CNC Turner| Bournemouth | £35,000 + 25 percent shift allowance

Are you a precision-driven CNC Turner confident working on Siemens controls and complex turned components? Are you motivated by producing high-accuracy parts, solving machining challenges and working with advanced multi-axis turning technology? This CNC Turner role offers long term stability, modern machinery and a supportive engineering environment.

As a CNC Turner, you will benefit from:

• An alternating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
• Working with modern Siemens-controlled turning centers
• Autonomy in setting, operating and optimising your machine

As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating Siemens-controlled CNC lathes, including lights-out running
• Following machining processes to ensure all components meet specification
• Changing tooling and adjusting offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Escalating machine issues and supporting corrective actions
• Achieving and logging daily output targets
• Self-inspection of finished parts

As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:

• A metal cutting background
• CNC turning experience on Siemens controls
• Experience with twin spindle, twin turret or multi-turret turning equipment
• Confident interpretation of engineering drawings
• Ability to complete tooling changes and accurate offset adjustments
• Ideally completion of an engineering apprenticeship and long term experience in a similar turning role
